"a biiig thankyou for Saturday night, for all the huge amount of work in setting up (and clearing up afterwards) also for feeding us and looking after us so well. It's a terrific warm (in all senses) venue & you make it a very inviting atmosphere for audience and performers alike. The best folk venue in Sydney?? Great to see a full house and no shortage of happy audience members on the night either which was a pleasant surprise given the storms and humidity (I thought some folks might be inclined to stay away). The sound was really good on the night for us on stage as well as front of house so please also pass on our thanks to Cameron et al."

"May 9th will be a tough act to follow. Because The Mother's are performers they know not only how to treat other performers but what people and performers want/need at a venue. I mean, imagine that, showing up at a venue and pretty much all you have to do is perform. Wow! Kudos to you all and heart felt thanks; an article about Fairlight Folk in TRAD & NOW wouldn't go astray. Lord knows how many "other" clubs could take a leaf out of your book...and smoke it!"
